The Beheaded is a playable character. He is a homunculus possessing a headless, rotten corpse, with baggy clothes along with a long red scarf and no footwear. In order to unlock this character, the player must first bring Serenade into the dungeon, which will cause Cells to start dropping from killed enemies. When the player has 999 Cells or more, they can use the Design Table to develop Cytoplasm. Once done, bring it into the run and the character will transform into The Beheaded, and Cytoplasm
